Nexus Arts is looking for a passionate individual to join us in 2016 as the Creative Pathways Program Coordinator.
The Nexus Creative Pathways program is a year long intensive development program for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander (ATSI) musicians. The program strives to equip participating artists with a broad range of knowledge and skills necessary to operate as a successful independent artist in the Australian music industry. Creative Pathways aims to drive business and individual artistic development concurrently as well as identifying opportunities for audience development and the development of revenue streams for participating artists.
The Creative Pathways Program Coordinator position is funded for a 12-month period, from February 2016 – December 2016. The Coordinator will provide support to artists in the program and assist the Nexus Music Program Manager in delivery of all aspects of the program.
This is a 2-day per week position for a period of 11-months, open to extension if funding permits.
