Nexus Multicultural Arts (Nexus Arts) is the only contemporary arts organisation in South Australia dedicated to the production and presentation of culturally diverse arts practice, and the development of artists from culturally diverse backgrounds. Music Programs Manager
A part time position (0.8FTE) is available for the right person to join our team, based in the Adelaide CBD.
The successful applicant will have current networks in the national contemporary music sector and sound knowledge of sector trends, be experienced in mentoring emerging artists, be passionate about the development of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists and artists from culturally diverse backgrounds, and experience producing music events, including tour management, budgeting and contracting.
Reporting to the Executive Director the successful applicant will ensure the successful planning and delivery of all Nexus Arts professional and community based music presentation programs, manage the Creative Pathways Program for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander musicians, and provide ongoing assistance to artists from culturally diverse backgrounds.
