Summer Twilight Show: Chakam

An hour of beautiful music to ease you through the working week. Featuring acclaimed international artists, these captivating performances will explore contemporary takes on traditional music. Experience the sounds and traditions of Iran and Sweden in these two very different, yet beautifully aligned, musical offerings.

Chakam

Sogol Mirzaei, Vahideh Eisaei and Saghar Khadem illuminate the essence of Iran’s traditional art music in Chakam: the feminine harmony of virtuosic strings and intoxicating percussion, in the eye of a spirited and youthful friendship. Their performances are built according to the rules of the subtle art of radif, where intense rhythmical moments answer profound melodious tirades, where intimate and modern improvisations join authentic ancient Persian compositions. The listener, by the vibrations of the lute and zither entwined, is immersed into the delights of a delicate contemplation.

Chakam was born in 2014, celebrating a longlasting friendship between its three musicians who live separately between France, the Netherlands and Australia. Reunited through music, they have presented their art in front of audiences in France and Switzerland, and are genuine ambassadors of the wonderful Iranian culture.

Join us for a drink in our courtyard garden prior to the performance, and then make your way to dinner after an hour of sublime music for a perfect summer night experience!
