Brendan Connolly – Co-Treasurer
Brendan is a Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA) and has been working in practice since 2002. He is one of the founding partners of his practice, Pangea Partners, which was started in 2017. He has embraced the technological advances that have influenced the accounting industry and is a strong believer in the benefits of these advancements. He is passionate about being the conduit between traditional accounting and technological advancements.
Brendan has a strong focus on hospitality and enjoys the industry’s dynamic nature. He enjoys working alongside creatives and artists during the Fringe season, which has inspired him to join the Nexus board, where he was eager to support Nexus’s endeavors as a promoter of the arts as well as a performance venue.
Also important to Brendan is Nexus’s focus on promoting cultural diversity within the arts and especially their recognition of Indigenous communities. Time spent in Arnham Land in the Northern Territory working with Indigenous communities prompted him to seek out organisations and opportunities that initiated important cultural conversations and the recognition of Indigenous communities.
