Hear Now – A Music at the Maj concert

Hear Now

A Music @ The Maj Concert

Presented by Adelaide Festival Centre in association with Nexus Arts

We are thrilled to announce the launch of Hear Now at Her Majesty’s Theatre – a special intercultural music event presented in collaboration with Adelaide Festival Centre, featuring performances by First Nations songwomen Dhungala Baarka (Nancy Bates and Allara) joined by jazz musician and composer Adam Page; an acclaimed contemporary Sufi music group led by singer/composer Farhan Shah, the “Pakistani Pavarotti”; Radial Quartet led by guzheng player Zhao Liang and drummer/composer Jarrad Payne; and multi-talented Cuban trumpeter/composer Lazaro Numa and ensemble.

From exquisite songwriting to soaring instrumental melodies, expect an unforgettable night of contemporary music. Nexus is absolutely delighted to have been invited to work with the Adelaide Festival Centre in programming this brilliant range of artists, who Nexus audiences will most certainly recognise! This is a fantastic opportunity for them (and us!) to take to the beautiful reinvigorated stage at The Maj, and we would love for you to join us on 19 May.

Don’t wait – get your tickets here!
