Michael Pagsanjan – Board Member

Michael is the Principal at MPS Law and is passionate about social justice. He is a nationally accredited mediator, a trained strategic partnership expert and a governance specialist. His extensive experience includes in-house roles in the not-for-profit sector and experience in immigration and refugee matters (and native title law).

Michael was recognised as the 2018 Young Lawyer of the Year by the Law Society of South Australia. In 2019, he was also recognised as one of South Australia’s top business leaders and entrepreneurs in the InDaily 40 under 40 awards. In addition to his role on the Nexus Board, Michael is currently also a director at the Australian Refugee Association as well as advising several other boards.

Michael holds a Bachelor of Laws and Legal Practice (Honours), Bachelor of International Studies and is an Australian Institute of Company Directors Graduate. Michael is the son of a Filipino migrant and has two young children, continually reminding him to be humble.
