‘Femme: Error Code – Cyborgs Don’t Dream of Perfection’ is a speculative short film and installation and contemporary jewellery making to explore the human body through the lens of a futuristic cyborg manufacturing system. Set within a dystopian yet poetic future, the work examines the production of idealised synthetic vessels engineered to embody perfection, beauty, and efficiency.
Through science fiction and surreal world building, the project critiques systems of bodily control, aesthetic standardisation, and the rejection of bodies deemed perfect.
