DreamBig at Nexus Arts Residency
We’re calling for bold, original and exciting Expressions of Interest from First Nations and CALD artists to create a performance work or workshop experience for young audiences!
Music, dance, theatre, storytelling, live art, multidisciplinary work — any genre, form or format is welcome, as long as it connects with and inspires audiences aged 12-18.
We also welcome applications for creative workshops and participatory experiences designed for young people.
Two selected artists will receive a $6,000 artist fee (+12% superannuation) to develop and present 3 performances, workshops or presentations of their work in partnership with the DreamBIG Children’s Festival in 2027.
Alongside financial support, Nexus Arts will provide in-kind development and production support to help bring your vision to life.
This is an exciting opportunity to develop new work, connect with young audiences, and present your project as part of one of Australia’s leading children’s festivals.
