Malibu Drive are back! Fresh off a sold out run for 2022 Adelaide Fringe, these talented musicians are ready to take you back to the 70s again!
This show is a celebration of all things disco, and a homage to the great artists who defined this incredible era of music such as Michael Jackson, Chic, The Bee Gees, Earth Wind & Fire and many many more, Malibu Drive will have you up on your feet dancing and grooving in a Boogie Wonderland! The 8 Piece ensemble from Adelaide are incredibly excited to be back after their sellout season for 2022 to bring the hits of 70s to the Adelaide Fringe once again!
With their powerhouse horn section and tight rhythm section, frontman Philimon Araya and the boys from Malibu Drive are sure to get you on your feet! Bringing the party to you while playing your favourite tunes from many different eras such as Motown and Disco, to the latest Billboard Chart Toppers, this groovy band can’t wait to get you moving! After securing a residency at the SkyCity District during 2020/21, Malibu Drive have played many gigs around Adelaide including the Bloom Block Party, the Prospect Tour Down Under Launch, Fringe at Prospect aswell as performing for many different private functions including Weddings, Birthdays and Balls. Made up of students from the Elder Conservatorium, the boys from Malibu Drive are sure to impress!!
