Nexus Arts is currently welcoming applications for two studio residency opportunities in 2025
The Nexus Arts Studio Residency Program delivers professional development outcomes for emerging and early career South Australian artists from culturally diverse or First Nations backgrounds. This program supports artists to develop and present new work with access to a mentor of your choice, free onsite studio space and a solo exhibition at the end of the residency.
NEXUS ARTS STUDIO RESIDENCY PROGRAM
Residency 1
Studio Availability: Jan – March
Exhibition dates: 10 April – 16 May 2025
Residency 2
Studio Availability: May – July
Exhibition dates: 24 July – 5 September 2025
Each residency provides:
access to a free CBD-located studio space for 3 months
a supported mentorship with a leading South Australian creative practitioner or relevant industry professional
an exhibition of new work created during the residency in the Nexus Arts Gallery, and online
